Melted Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies – Chewy!

Melted butter helps to make a chewy more dense style cookie (rather than creamed butter and sugar) recipes. You can bake the cookies after mixing, but if you have the time, I strongly suggest chilling the dough balls in the refrigerator for as long as you can. (2 hours to 2 days!) It really deepens the flavor and improves the texture. I like to chill the dough balls rather than the whole batch of cookie dough. As the dough is easier to scoop when it's soft and the dough balls don't take as long to chill as does a whole bowl of dough.

Soft & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

These Chocolate Chip Cookies are buttery and soft with a nice chew when you bite into them! They’re not too thick and not too thin. They come out of the oven puffed in the center, but while cooling, that center nestles down into pure chewy delicious-ness! YUM! This recipe make 2-dozen cookies, a perfectly manageable batch! They stay soft when stored in an air-tight container and they freeze perfectly either before or after baking.

Cottage Cheese Savory Breakfast Muffins

Delicious protein packed, gluten-free savory cheddar and broccoli muffins!

Recipe adapted from "Savory Cottage Cheese Muffins" by "Hey Nutrition Lady" Amounts edited to make 6 muffins – as I like to bake them in my counter-top oven and use my smaller 6-cup muffin tin. I also added some seasonings. You can double the recipe for a larger 12-cup muffin tin.

Hot Honey Chicken Dip

All the flavors of Nashville Hot Honey Chicken combine with creamy cheeses and bacon to create an irresistible dip! You can totally adjust the "Hot" factor in this dip, by adding more or less hot sauce! As written the dip has mild heat that balances nicely with the touch of honey and creamy cheeses.

Make Ahead Whipped Cream (Stabilized)

You can stabilize whipped cream by adding a little instant pudding mix to the heavy cream. It will help to keep your whipped cream from weeping and deflating – so you can whip it up to a day in advance! This recipe also makes a great whipped cream frosting and I use as a substitute for Cool Whip.

Our Favorite Turkey Ricotta Meatballs

Light, juicy and flavorful! These meatballs were a big hit with my family and friends! You can make them a little larger to serve with pasta or roll them smaller and they make great appetizers! I highly recommend serving a little extra ricotta (drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with salt & pepper) to dollop on the side.

Weeknight Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Weeknight pulled pork cooks in your slow-cooker and uses easy-to-deal-with pork tenderloin rather than big cumbersome bone-in pork shoulder (save that for the weekend!) Add some fat and flavor with finely chopped bacon – it slow cooks with the dry rubbed pork tenderloin and melts in beautifully making for a flavorful and succulent weeknight meal!

Hi Linda – you can find me at “Tina Verrelli KitchenAid for QVC” on Facebook. I like to use the flex edge beaters for creamy mixtures that I want to get smooth. I like to use the regular turbo beaters for other tasks. But you can use them somewhat interchangeably.

1. WHIP POTATOES, CREAM, BUTTER & EGGS. The hardest part of making whipped cream, fluffy potatoes or delicious eggs is keeping your mixture airy and frothy. What not to do with a KitchenAid mixer? ›

Be careful not over-mix or over-whip! With the powerful motor of a stand mixer, your whipped cream can turn to butter in seconds and overmixing your cake batter will make it dense and flat from too many gluten strands. NOTE: Do not scrape the bowl while the Stand Mixer is operating.

What number is best on KitchenAid mixer? ›

Speeds 4 and 5 are best for recipes calling for mixing or beating on medium. These speeds are ideal for mixing cake batters, cookie doughs, or the first stages of making a meringue.

Pies and pizza and cake, oh my!

Your KitchenAid mixer might just be the hardest-working appliance you own. It can tackle everything from sweet desserts, such as angel food lemon cupcakes and shortbread cardamom cookies, to savory recipes, such as vegan mashed potatoes and even garlic breadsticks.

What are the three basic attachments for a KitchenAid mixer? ›

The beater accessories that come with a KitchenAid® stand mixer are the flat beater, dough hook and wire whisk/whip.
