Lost Lands 8 Walkthrough
This guide is a walkthrough of each section of the game to help you locate the items you need,and with full solutions for the puzzles you will face. Please note that the game can be confusing at times as items that you need to collect may not let you pick them up until you have found a need for them.
This means that you will need to return to areas multiple times to find items. If you are unable to pick up any item that is mentioned in the guide then you may have missed tapping on an earlier scene or item that activates the need for the new item.

This is quite a long game, so we have tried to split our Lost Lands 8 Walkthrough into logical parts, let's dive in right away with part 1, continue to different parts of our guide, including a summary page for all Lost Lands 8 puzzle solutions via the menu system.
Lost Lands 8 Walkthrough - Sand Captivity
This is our walkthrough for Part 1 or Lost Lands 8 Sand Captivity, an mystery puzzle game from Five-BN games. In this part we have traveled to the Lost Land to get help, but we need to find Maaron.
Find Maaron
Collection Item: a boot on the left below the tree
Morphing object: yellow butterfly / flower on the right.
First collect the Garden Shears (Gardening scissors) from the lower left. Then tap to view the plant growing in a pot in the center of the house.
The post is covered in vines, use the shears to cut these. You can then tap the pot to lift it and find a key underneath to collect.
Next view the door on the lower right of the house.
Use the key here to open the door and go inside.
Collection Item: a horseshoe on the floor below the small window on the right.
First tap to view the fireplace, on the left is a poker.
Tap the poker and then the ashes in the fireplace to clear them away, you can then collect a coin.
View the coin in your inventory.
Tap it to remove the wire from it. You will then collect the wire and a Kyoll (the coin). This is 1 of 6.
Now view the table on the left of the room under the window. Collect the knife.
Now tap on the picture above the fireplace. On the left of the stone shelf is a paper note. Tap to read this.
The note tells you where to find Maaron, and the clues to how to activate the dolmen in the courtyard.
Next view the small colored glass window on the right of the room.
Tap the pot on the sill to move it and collect another Kyoll (2 of 6). Then tap the red glass in the center of the window to collect 3 shards of colored glass. (the fourth, green, is broken).
Now view the picture of fish on the right. Use the shards of glass on this to place them on the shelf.
You can now tap them in turn to place them on the picture. This will reveal three items that you will need to collect.
Pearl, Poppy Seeds, Snakeskin.
We still need to find a fourth piece of glass (green) to find the 4th item.
Next tap to view the rocking chair on the left of the fireplace. Then tap the seat to lift the cover.
Collect an Owl emblem from the chair.
Now tap the rug on the floor below the chair to roll it back and reveal a trap door. View this.
You cannot open the door yet but on the left of the lock is a gap in the floorboards. Use the wire on this to collect a 'Detail'.
Finally tap on the mantle over the fireplace to see the picture again. There is a Gear (1 of 2) on the shelf to the left to collect.
Now exit the house.
On the stone wall to the left of the gate is a small box / Letter box. View this.
Use the 'Detail' on the front to open it and inside you will find a note to read.
After reading the note look inside again and collect a 'Star' and another Gear (2 of 2).
Now tap to view the large gate in the wall. You will see the lock.
Use the knife on the lock to remove the cover, then you will look inside.
Add the 2 gears to it to start a puzzle.
To solve this puzzle you need to slide the 4 gold lock bolts to the correct locations. Each bolt has a sharp point at one end, this point need to fit into the silver blocks on the sides.

Now the gate is open.
Before moving on tap the ladder on the left of the house to view it and see that it is missing some rungs.
Now we can move through to the next area.
