Overwhelmed with making a gluten-free vegan Thanksgiving meal?
When I celebrated my first Thanksgiving as a vegan, I was kind of excited. There seemed to be enough options like Tofurkey, stuffing, and rolls to still have a great meal. Then, when our family needed to go gluten-free as well, it got very difficult!
This will be our 18th year having a vegan Thanksgiving and our 9th year doing a gluten-free vegan Thanksgiving. We've tried many things over the years and these are some of our favorites!
Vegan, gluten-free, allergies, picky eaters
How do you please all your guests and use ingredients that accommodate allergies and special diets?
Our extended family has about as many food restrictions, allergies, and food aversions as there are people, so it makes big family meals challenging. You're probably in the same boat, but don't worry, I've got you covered.
I compiled all of my family's favorite gluten-free Thanksgiving recipes along with the best recipes from other specialty bloggers to give you a complete list of options from breakfast to dessert, and everything in between!

Thank you so much for making a separate gluten free list, I really appreciate it! 🙂
While the family isn't vegan, with allergies including dairy, eggs, gluten, and more, we do eat mostly vegan anyhow. With the majority needing gluten free also, combing vegan sites and recipes looking for ones that will be safe for most it can be very frustrating, since gluten is vegan, and not all will mark the top of their recipe pages with a gf or a not gf. Thank you. I'm sure this list will be helpful. 🙂Reply

So many delicious options not sure you can go wrong with any of them! The lemon pie looks so good and would be a great ending. We always have pies, lots of pies, but never lemon. Hoping to make that Butternut Squash Soup and many other recipes soon, they aren't just for Thanksgiving!
